Honiton is at the eastern end of our patch, on the A30 where it meets the A35 towards Dorset. It is known for lace and antiques, but for our purposes what matters is Heathpark, the substantial industrial estate on the edge of town.
It is also one of the few old towns in Devon with a genuinely wide main street, which makes a pleasant change.

The High Street is broad by the standards of anywhere else we work, a legacy of its coaching days, and that makes town-centre work considerably less fraught than in most Devon market towns.
Heathpark has proper commercial access and room to set up, and is where most of our Honiton work happens.
The A30 runs past the town, so the approach is quick from Exeter, and the lanes out into east Devon are gentler country than the west of the county.
