Plant and machinery transport
Diggers, dumpers, mini excavators and site equipment moved between sites, yards and hire depots.
Detail
Most plant moves happen at the wrong end of a working day, and the cost of getting it wrong is a machine sitting idle on the wrong site while a crew stands around.
We move plant and machinery across Cornwall and Devon on a 10 ton lorry with its own crane, which means awkward loads can be lifted on and off rather than needing a ramp, a loading bay or a second machine to help.
If you run plant hire, a groundworks firm or a farm with kit that moves between holdings, the practical detail matters more than anything else: what it weighs, where it is going, and how tight the access is at both ends. Tell us those three and we can price it.
- Mini excavators, dumpers, rollers and site equipment
- Up to 10 tons, lifted on and off by crane where needed
- Yard to site, site to site, and back to the hire depot
- Cornwall and Devon covered from a Truro base
- Flexible hours, including early starts when a job has to begin on time
Questions
Common questions
- How heavy a machine can you carry?
- Up to 10 tons. If you are not sure what yours weighs, tell us the make and model and we will check it, because the plate on the machine is often the operating weight rather than the transport weight.
- Can you collect from a hire depot?
- Yes. Give us the depot, the reference and the window they will release it in, and we can collect and deliver straight to site.
- What if the site access is bad?
- That is usually what the crane is for. Tell us what the last fifty metres looks like, including gateways, overhead cables and soft ground, and we will tell you honestly whether we can get in.
